Responsibilities & Context
- Develop and execute the national sales strategy and annual sales plan in line with business objectives, revenue targets, and growth priorities.
- Lead and drive the national sales team to achieve sales, distribution, volume, value, and profitability targets across all regions and channels.
- Develop and strengthen the distributor and channel partner network to ensure effective market coverage, product availability, and sustainable business growth.
- Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and regional business dynamics to identify growth opportunities and take timely corrective actions.
- Drive effective sales planning, forecasting, target setting, budgeting, and performance management through regular review of sales KPIs and business performance.
- Develop and implement sales initiatives, trade programs, and field-force incentive schemes to improve sales productivity, market penetration, and execution effectiveness.
- Build strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and other business stakeholders to strengthen market presence and ensure effective execution of sales strategies.
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to build a high-performing workforce through capability development, performance management, and succession planning.
- Ensure effective sales processes, systems, and compliance across the national sales operation while continuously identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness.
